Why my ERP Implementation is like my Marriage

Biography: Edward DuBeau, CPIM, CIRM, CSCP, has focused on Enterprise systems from both and implementation and user perspective for the last 20 years in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.   Ed is currently the Senior Director, Supply Chain Management at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals Pearl River facility.

What Is This All About: "In good times and in bad, in sickness and in health..." are words we are all familiar with. While these beliefs are primarily applied to a marriage contract, these same principles can be applied to every ERP Implementation.  From courtship to long-term commitment, we will explore the fundamentals of successful ERP systems from both a project management and user perspective.

Who Should Attend: Operations Management professionals involved with, or impacted by, Enterprise Resource Planning projects.

What You Will Get by Attending: This presentation’s objective is to provide a primer in ERP project methodology.

What You Will Miss: A practitioner’s perspective on key steps, issues and enablers to success during the ERP system lifecycle.
